What a lousy soccer game we had this time...lost 5-0, that's not the bad part though...if any of you remember me saying last week that this saturday I'd be posting here saying that I made an own goal in today's game(remember steve?), well, here I am, posting...and saying that I made an own goal this morning, because I did...and even though we were going to lose anyway that doesn't make any difference because I still feel like a loser
so anyways guys, post your kind remarks and consolations here, becuz I need a lift....ha,ha just kidding :p really though, post the dumbest thing you think you've done, something that made you feel like an idiot or a loser, or something you saw someone else do. I promise I won't laugh.....too hard :D

You probably did it because you thought you were going to. If you think you can't win then you wont. You have to think that you are going to play well and win the game.

I seriously never thought about scoring an own goal, what happened was, the play happened only a few feet in front of the goal, I was playing defender and one forward for the other team had a breakaway and was charging toward the goal, most likely would have scored too, a few feet from the goal I had only one chance to kick the ball away before she kicked towards goal, well I kicked it all right...I was aiming for the side of the goal by the post, it was the only available angle and I've done it a million times before, but this time it went right in
I guess it's was bound to happen SOMEDAY, I've been playing soccer for a few years now.
Powder.fan you walked into a speaker? how interesting.... :D

If you just left it then you would have probably got shouted at by everyone else on your team but at least this way the striker didn't score.

Excatly. And it's better to lose 5-0 than 4-0.

at the resort i spent the weekend at, there was a wedding. Me, my cousin and two friends crashed the reception and danced with some of the bridesmaids that were our age. The old people there and resort staff were pissed.

That's an interesting story, but it doesn't seem very dumb. I broke my collarbone wrestling and had to get stitches on my middle finger from this metal thing on an oven.

another dumb thing I've done is, when I was smaller, we were cooking with the grill outside, and my sister asked me if it was hot enough so I just turned around and stuck my finger on it like an idiot, got a real bad burn and melted the tip of my finger....no idea why I did that, but yeah, it was definitely hot enough!!
My computer did a very dumb thing yesterday, it crashed and I lost EVERYTHING, all my hundreds of pictures from my digital camera, my files, my hard work of many years, everything went :( so I had to reload all the software, just like it was a new computer, I couldn't be more annoyed at it.
