I've only ridden in the New Mexico/Colorado area. In NM, I've ridden Angel Fire, Albequerque, Red River, and visited Taos (but couldn't do anything there...they don't allow snowboarders  ) When I went to Colorado I boarded at Wolf Creek...it was pretty nice. I plan on going to Winter Park and/or Breckenridge/Vail this spring break, though!

I like timberRidge better. For the past 2 seasons I have got season passes there, only $150 if you get it early. I like it alot.

I have a season pass at Brandy Wine / Boston Mills in Ohio, so I head there on weekdays after work and weekends I try to go somewhere fun, but so far I've only made it as far as Peak-N-Peak in NY. I want to head to Blue Knob in PA and Bristol Mt in NY. Anyone been to either of those places?

Closest to home for me is the steep and treacherous (sarcasm) Perfect North Slopes just outside of Cincinnati. Not much more then a hill, but not a too bad of a place to fine tune your board settings, or work on some things before heading to bigger places.

I also visit my buddy in Charlottesville VA for a couple days at Wintergreen or Snowshoe.

And of course the 2-4 days a year out at Tahoe with my buddy from San Fran. Going there at the end of March. Can't wait.

I ride in a big freezer in a local town (indoor ski slope with snow cannons to create the snow) most of the year (summer and winter) but I've been to Bulgaria a couple of times, France once, and I'm going again for a week on Saturday! :D Can't wait....

woah i could never imagnie riding in an indoor ski slope. that shits just crazy... but i guess so is europe... i ride my local ski hill. Silverstar. its proud to be one of the best family mountians in the world. i think it sucks. no one has respect for snowboarders. an they're park is for lil star duster like 7 year olds learning how to ski (i.e. jumps an tables are maybe 5 feet long. an the rails are all ride on gay ones. yep thats my local hill.

yea thats always nice.

The least I want is people who know how to get on the fricken lift. One day, the lift would stop at least 5-10 times each time up. Was very annoying.

oops- and I totally just forgot to mention Hillend, the sickest (as in literally) slope of them all- 2 runs, not including the two learning slopes, 2 tbars, 1 lift, and a whole lot of carpet astro-turf that makes catching edges easier than breathing. Can you see how much I love this place?>

Being in the UK - whereever I can afford to go to (esp. as wife and child as well!)

This means I get to see a lot of places though -
In no particular order I have boarded at

Mammoth Mountain - USA
Kirchberg - Austria (a few times)
small resort in Andorra
Chamonix - France (a few times)
Serre Chevalier - France ( a few times)
Alpe D' Huez - France
Big Bear - USA
La Plagne - France
Lake Louise /Banff - Canada
Avoriaz - France
and probably few others I have forgot.

and this year, in just over 2 weeks we are going to Les Deux Alpes - France for a couple of weeks. It will be the first time for my son (except when he was in mommy's belly!!) - she boards as well by the way !

Yeah! It's awesome when no ones around, especially when you go to the park! :D
I tend to make less of a fool of myself on those days
Where's Ski Apache? How big? Park Description? and anything else.....

well it's in New Mexico, a few hundred miles from El Paso, 55 trails, 11 lifts. It's not the biggest place, but it's decent when the whole mountain's open. Sad news is there isn't any park or halfpipe for that matter, a few small jumps are scattered here and there on the trails but there's nothing concrete. Maybe next season.... There's a gondola that's a lot of fun when you take to the top :D It can get pretty crowded on the weekends, a lot of military come there to ski or snowboard, but when nobody's there..... :D :p :)
