After Austria and Switzerland already got snowed under in the last weeks I
saw the first white images from webcams in France this morning!
Maybe this winter will be better than the last ones, especially for those
wanting to go out boarding around christmas.

I am happy for you guys on that side of the pond.
The weather is looking bleak for us in the Midwest(east) in the United
States. Looks like Snowshoe is not going to have snow for a Thanksgiving
opening.
Have a great time boarding, think of us on occasion, we will be thinking
of you.
Did just come back from a rail jam where they laid down small runs of
ice shavings collected from the Zamboni's at local ice rinks.

Maybe. For a late autumn the snow is already great (winter starts in
december).
We plan to go to the Czech Republic next weekend. Liberec is open since
last weekend, will be open next, 55 cm snow but getting warmer. We hope
and will see.

Sounds nice!
I might be snowboarding in Vermont, USA tomorrow. They have some natural
snow and plenty of machine-made as a base. Not sure how much of either,
but it's quite rideable.
We'll all be feasting on Thursday here in the States for Thanksgiving.
My agenda for the week -- snowboard, feast, drink ale, surf over
weekend, drink more ale. Yes, it will be a good week!

My daughter and I had fun boarding at Sunshine on Saturday few too many
rocks still, got my first snow fix for the year. Now to wait for home hill
(Kimberley) to open.

And we buried our plans to go boarding because it rained a little bit
too much and the snow turned to ice. A pity. Last weekend would have
been fine but you don't have always time ...
Next try: in two weeks.
Next vacation: in three weeks (french alps)
