Dido's ok but gets boring, The only time I like Craig David is when he's being made fun of on Bo Selecta, Alex Parks was the person I wanted to win but now I don't care anymore, and reserve my right to not have opinions on the others.

My boyfriend likes Dido (I'm not too familiar but she seems too folksy for me).
I LOVE The Streets and saw them about a year or so ago at their first gig in NYC - they weren't very good live (mikey seemed nervous!) but I've heard they've improved.
Also LOVE Basement Jaxx - great music for running on the treadmill. Rad video for Where's your head at, too.
I like the look of that last pair you have listed (Turin something?) - are they a dj outfit?
My current fave Uk band are The Libertines - they sound very old-school 70s punk rock - the song Up the Bracket sounds a lot like Stiff Little Fingers.
edited to add - do you like or have you heard of Junior Senior? I believe they're from Norway - great danceable disco sounding stuff. Just saw them a few months back and had a great time bopping around.

I really like Basement Jaxx as well especially their last two singles (Lucky Star and Good Luck).
Turin Brakes are a band similar to coldplay.
Yes, I have heard of Junior Senior and they actually come from Denmark. (Near enough)
