I just got back from boarding and on my second day (not my second time in my life), get this, i fell down on the bunny hill. The easiest beginner hill! Talk about embarrasing. My tail bone is still talking to my. Actually yelling when i try to sit down or stand up. Its so slow its hard. Not to mention dodging all the people on their butts. I was actually kinda showing off. he he. Anyways, anyone else got any embarrasing snowboarding stories? That wasn't actually to embarrasing. Just painful. Being surrounded by ppl when you fall or something? lol, anyways, post if you want!:D

:D that is not too bad. Everyone else is falling on the bunny slopes too.
I tore my knee a little once. Not embarrassing though. I would have to say falling face first in front of some cute girls was pretty embarassing back when I was learning.

Dude, yea. Cute girls and all your FRIENDS. And it's even worse when you say, "watch this." It was at the end of the run, actually. We had gone all through the park, and at the end of the run there's just a big speed run, with a tiny little green circle jump at the bottom (i mean, three feet tops). I pumped the whole hill and was straight up FLYING when I hit the little ****er. I was trying a straight BS360, but somehow I went off/axis...anyways I landed right on my shoulder, or somehow during the avalanche that I caused I landed strongly on it, and I was out for the rest of the day. At least the rest of the crew couldn't ride very well either because their abs were too sore from laughing at me...

on my last boarding trip I went on (7th or eighth time ever), i got a ton of speed for this jump at the bottom of the hill, and there was a ton of people on the slopes watching, and i hit the jump but was on my heel edge, bit it, landed on my butt, and nailed my head into the ground, and hurt my neck pretty bad, then proceeded to try to make chicks feel sorry for me...jk. i had difficulty getting out of the way, but they gave me time...
on my third trip ever, i went to hit a little jump so i could grind on a tube, and just before it I caught an edge, fell, landed on my wrist, and finished me off for the night... but my head was downhill, so i had trouble getting my bindings off and i hurt bad from then and the rest of the day...

Lol, yup, good times. It hurts the worst i find if your going to edge pretty fast and catch your heel totally off guard. It takes me a while to recover from that especially if i'm stuck in really deep pow. Not as painful put it soaks you and it sucks to get out of. anyways, see ya!

i got a painful sotry for ya, i was up in Tahoe boardin with a bunch of friends and one of em tells me about this "hit" he keeps stompin im all about watchin this brodie eat pow so i follow him to this jump, so anyways we're coming up on it and it looks huge, bigger then the 50ft booters in the park below, he hits it and just barely floats it, and im thinkin i can sky this bad boy no prob so i come into the jump balls out, well this "jump" was the official start of the park (i would of known this but i had been hittin the park after coming out the pipe which was off the to the left) so it was steep as hell, but only about 6 feet long, so as im skyin in the air watchin the "jump" go into my rearview i get ready for the painful flat landing for like 25ft. so i hit the ground board first and tryin to absorb the fall by bending my knees, but i just keep going down and ended up cratering with my ass...i dont think i was comfortable for the rest of the day...everything ached and made weird noises when i moved and the next day i could barely make it through a night boardin session
Lol this wasn't painful, and there werent that many people watching, but i was riding up to the line that u wait at before u go on the lift. I got there and slipped somehow the chair was coming i tried to get back up and my friend just shoved me back down so i didnt get hit by the chair. I went under the chair lol.
was pretty funny at the time.

Get this, i was on my first day boarding and nobody told me how the chairs worked so i went up to the red line and started talking i suppose (curse of chatterbox girls:rolleyes: ) and the chair totally took me by suprise and i got sucked under. Oh brother was that embarrasing. Never did that again I'll tell you that for sure! See ya!

I was in the park at Stevens about five years ago, right after they re-opened it. It was small and crowded and seemed like the whole mountain was there. I'd been in the alpine all day but came down and hit a few of the big lips on the edge of the park a couple of times. Anyhow, the third pass I decided to really gun it and fly the lip INTO the park (yeah, STUPID). The hit was really big at that angle and I ended up overshooting the landing by something like 30 feet! I actually flew OVER the the next hit and when I look down there's a little kid wrecked and SITTING ON HIS ASS at the start of the runout. So I throw the board over to the left so as not to kill him and essentially bellyflop on him. OUCH! Get this, the kid's MOM is standing there watching and starts screaming at me! And I'm in so much pain I can barely barf up my nachos. I hate it when moms make me cry.

ok, really embarrassing, to me anyway, i am a total beginner, i have gone snowboarding maybe 5-7 times, and i love it, but i kinda suck so far (lol) so im at this mountain, and im about to go down a green circle run, and i see this small little pathway, and it looks easy, so i figured it led to an easy trail, NOT, it went to a blue square/black diamond! which i cant do at all, so after biting on my heel edge and hurting my neck, i took off my snowboard, and walked all the way down the whole run, with people on the chairlift looking at me like i was crazy! but i guess better that than get really hurt lol.

me and a mate weaving on a steep slope (chair lift right next to us) . Noticed this hot chick on a chair lift, she was watching me. To my shame my mate comes flying into my back i go for 6, i go straight down .. lost my googles and my gloves on impact my bag also gets brought over my head in the tumble. my jacket almost gets pulled over my head as well as snow down back and down pants. no shame...
while fighting to breathe i get up, put my bag in place. the whole chair lift cracks up with laughter. i unbind my board and have to walk up the mountain to get my googles and gloves.

Ha ha. Ya its so aweful when ppl on the lifts are whatching!!! I was boarding with my friend and we were going on this really tricky part of a black diamond face (it was my second day ever boarding i was so proud of myself!:D ) Anyways, she was like totally concentrating going over all these huge mogels and i was like totally cruisin along, and all these ditzy pre-teens in the lift started yelling 'fall! fall!' and my friend looked up to see if she knew them (she didn't understand what they were saying) and she did a HUGE wipeout. It was kinda funny. Of course i didn't fall once:cool: lol. but ya, she was pretty steamed. she nearly beat one of the girls heads off after the same girl cut us off on another run. :) bye!

lol well the first time i went i was doing pretty good only i was side slipping. and i caught a drift and flipped and landed on my shoulder. and my best guy friend was standing there laughing at me but what was even funnier was he was laughing at me then for no reason at all he just flopped to the ground like a rag doll!! it was lmao my shoulders went numb because my second run down i did the same thing only landed on my other shoulder :D
and another time i was doing so good (not the same day) i was going really fast and i was just going perfectly and then i just all of a sudden fell really hard on my chest and i couldn't breathe. it felt like i broke a rib!!!
