feet/binding width?

just got my bindings set up for me they feel pretty wide and i was just wondering how wide apart my feet should be. thanks a ton!

I'm like 5 11 and my feet are like 22 inche apart if you measure from the center of the baseplate...I dunno whatever feels comfortable I guess. I se people with their feet like 3 inches aprt looking liek sticks going down the mountain and when they spin it looks dumb..lol

Last season my stance was pretty wide, I had some trouble turning and such. This season I moved the front binding a little closer for a narrower stance, pretty much eliminated the leg soreness I thought was just natural. I think if they feel to wide you should move em closer, you should be comfortable when strapped in.

An inch greater or less then the width of your shoulders. Thats what the directions for my bindings state.

stand on the board, try to move the board around, maybe ask a friend to move the board around for you so that you have no control over the board, after that whichever position your feet settle in, that is the perfect stance for you, simply because that is the stand that your body and mind unconciously think is the most balanced stance. note the position of the feet. mustn't forget that. :cool:
