If your board is less than a year old, call burton... they may replace it for free.

If you still have the receipt, it's 1 year from date of purchase for Burtons. I haven't had a board I had to send in yet, but I've done it with gloves I bought in Feb'03. The seams came lose Dec'03 and I called Burton, they sent me a new pair of gloves.

Yeah, try to see if Burton will replace it for you...oh and a side note: typical Burton board right there :p They seem to have a tendancy to crack, its happened to me once and my friends a few times as well.

yeah....trust me...id love to get a Rome months ago...but they didnt have any when i bought the Burton for dirt cheap. It was more of a spur of the moment thing rather than researching and thinking it through....
i dont have the reciept so i think im pretty much screwed in that sense....plus it says on the warranty it dosent cover anything that could possibly be impact related, only defects in workmanship.....so i dont know....i can see if i still have the reciept but i highly doubt it...what a bummer.

Ok, that's not too bad to fix...so here goes.
You should find some type of UV (ultraviolet) stable epoxy...either a five or ten minute tube thingy should suffice.
Pry up the crack, and clean out any loose debris and flush with some rubbing alcohol to remove any trace oils.
Let it dry thoroughly and mix up a little of the epoxy and apply it to the underside of the crack and clamp it down with a small spring clamp. Use something like a chapstick top to fit between the sides of the crack that you can use to apply pressure to the rapair so the clamp doesn't get stuck to the board.
Also apply the epoxy to the top of the crack and tip (at edge of board) and let it set and cure.
once done you can leave it or sand it smooth.
On a side note, the five min or ten min epoxies may cure too hard for the cold temps so check the label for application instructions and get one that will be good down to -20 or so. The issue here is it might crack again due to it being too brittle at that temp.
this may sound more complicated than it really is. If you aren't comfortable doing this, any board shop can fix it for you.
good luck
